What to Expect

New clients are always welcome!

At Mapleview Animal Clinic, your pet’s comfort is our utmost priority. We strive to have only one pet in the waiting room at a time to reduce the stress and excitement for you and your furry friend. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by Sherri, our client care specialist, or one of our wonderful veterinary technicians Brit, Andrea or Nanci. You will then be brought into one of our dedicated dog or cat examination rooms. We schedule 30 minute appointments to ensure that we have adequate time to properly assess your pet and to address any concerns that you may have. We encourage a relaxed environment for your family friend. Our experienced doctors, Drs. Amy Jackson and Peter Sponagle, will discuss your concerns with you while your pet explores the room. To help reduce stress, we have feline pheromones in our cat room (to reduce stress for your cat) and many dog examinations are done on the floor (as dogs are not big fans of the stainless steel exam table). A thorough examination will be performed, replete with treats for your pet. Our veterinarians, Drs. Peter and Amy, will then give you recommendations regarding any diagnostic tests or treatments that are needed. Following your appointment, our staff will review the treatment recommendations and provide you with any further information you need. They will handle billing and schedule any follow-ups.

Our goal is for your appointment to be on-time. We do not double-book our appointments and we schedule our day to allow for emergencies. If, however, the unexpected arises and there will be a delay with your appointment we will do our utmost to contact you.

As we set aside ample time for your appointment, we very much appreciate if you can give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule your appointment.

At Mapleview Animal Clinic, we look forward to meeting you and your furry companions.
